I thought we were having a serious discussion here. Control issues exist in marriages which are basically failures. Maybe you need to see some other examples.
Personally, I am surprised to see the number of ppl who think marriage is a complicated mess.
I look around and see my pals and cousins and mashaAllah all are happy, and have wonderful marriages. I know those who are not successful either..the common theme I have found in marriages that just are not working out or having major issues, are those where one or both people lack emotional maturity or have some personality disorders.
