Anyone who has studied in Singapore or knows of any one ? What do you think about its education scene. The national university of Singapore (NUS) is a world class college (I wasn’t accepted sadly) and lots of Pakistanis are there as well… Was wondering if people still prefer Singapore or are heading towards the US/UK

Hi Rose, unfortunately havnt seen the trend of pakistani students prefering to go to Singapore .. the main focus is Europe or US mainly ...
Perhaps someone whose gone through this process might be able to shed some more light ...

NUS and then second tier universities. People would rather prefer Australian universities (If they want to remain around this region) over Singapore Universities other than NUS. For engineering related disciplines, Nanyang Technological University is not bad.

I have studied from Singapore College of Insurance. They hire the faculty from UK and bring them to Singapore to teach.
NUS is very good !
and I agree that it's better to go for Australian Universities if you want to be in this region as when I was there I met many locals who went to Australia to get degrees.

Singapore in General is really expensive. Thats something you should think about also. Institutions in the far east are on the rise. Japan has a few reputable universities. Tokyo i believe is in the top 30 in the world...

Singapore is very very expensive !
Malaysia is way cheaper in terms of cost of living as compared to Singapore but then Malaysia does not have NUS :)
