Let some posters from Punjab confirm this. I come across with many comments on this forum, where people told that they grandparents used particular Punjabi words, but now we don’t know the meaning of those words as we don’t speak Punjabi at our homes.

There may be a trend in Punjab to adopt Urdu but if you say that this is inferiority complex then I must say this is somewhat like hate.
Mostly, elite class speaks Urdu at homes and they don’t even know what is called patriotism or national unity. If you observe the day 14th August in Punjab, you will hardly see Pakistani flag on the top of houses of elite class but numerous flags on the top of houses of lower and middle class people.
You are actually telling me the twisted version preaching of Qaum parast and PPP leaders to the people of Sindh that if you adopt Urdu you will become loyal to Punjab.

Don’t we all know this about Bengalis being termed as ghaddar and whats not when they opposed decision of imposing Urdu on them?
