Dividing Sindh into smaller provinces is uncalled cry.

I do not think PPP would like to see Sindh divided, as they hold seats from rural Sindh but money they loot and plunder comes from urban Sindh (especially Karachi). Division would mean PPP feudal lords losing their source of loot and plunder. So, no division of Sindh as far as PPP is concerned.

I do not think MQM would like to see Sindh divided, as it is not in their interest. MQM is second largest party of Sindh that got over 2.5 million votes in 2008 election, approximately one million votes less than PPP who got ~3.5 million votes. No one have monopoly over Sindhi voters and MQM is making inroads amongst rural Sindhi voters very fast. As things are developing, it is not far when MQM may form Sindh government after becoming largest party of Sindh with most seats in PA. Once that would happen, I believe we would see end of feudalism and wide spread development, education, and progress all over Sindh.

This is MQM’s hypocricy (PPP’s to some extent as well), they always ask for more provinces in Punjab, KPK etc but when it comes to SIndh, it becomes estalishment’s dirty plan to divide Sindh.

As i sad, there are definitely more provinces required throughout Pakistan but they must not be devided on ethnic basis.

In any case, this is NOT the best time to discuss new provinces as there are far more important issues to sort out first.
