Sindh: Governor-CM issues

What’s with these people? Every few months they end up creating ‘some differences’ and one rushes to Islamabad for a back scratch the other to London.
The same has happened again during the past few days. the CM Dr Arbab Ghulam rahim is back from Isl and Governor Ishrat-ul-Ibad is in London.

Now is it some issue between these two; Ishrat and Arbab and perhaps a battle of egos under a vague demarcation of authority as governor and CM respectively which causes this or is it something more serious between PML and MQM?

Whatever it is, they’d better patch up soon or Karachi and the whole province will burn and sweat and go dry.

Re: Sindh: Governor-CM issues

All a drama.

Arbab is trying to show that he is standing up for his Sindhi people, ahead of the elections next year. He can't really rule without the MQM's support, unless he swallows his pride and forms a coalition with the PPP-P. Even then the MQM will remain with a powerful role in Sindh - it has the Governership, the Nazims of Karachi, Hyderabad etc, and the patronship of the centre.

Re: Sindh: Governor-CM issues

As predicted.

Arbab, Muttahida bury the hatchet
