Re: Sincerely......

What does it really mean for one person to give you "sincere advice"?
[/quote]
You can get a sincere advice from a disinterested adviser. The role of the adviser is to enable you to think independently for yourself. To enable you to take the decision that is in your best interest. She can only do that if she doesn't let her personal bias get in the way of shaping your beliefs. Similarly, you shouldn't let your personal bias -bias/prejudice is different from likes/dislikes- get in the way of reaching the best decision.

Do you decide based on the kind of people you are going to be around all your life?

Intellectual freedom (good or bad) has a cost. Is it worth it? It is the decision you have to make.

do you constantly think about what is right/wrong and remain double minded and wait for things to take a turn by themselves?

A well thought out decision is certainly better than a hasty one. Sometimes the cost of indecisiveness can exceed the cost of a wrong a decision. But if time is on your side, don't rush into anything.
