No one has mentioned Shehzad Roy. The guy has got some really nice song. One of my favorites by him is:

His first album was good and the song dholna was a hit. But after that, he didnt maintain his quality. Kangna was a better song though.
I like some of his song, he seems like a nice guy...

that song you mentioned is quite good, but most of his other stuff is pretty ordinairy.
He's a very good looking lad however, so no doubt his albumns will continue to sell.
Although I dont like him, cuz hez what we call a 'chichora'.
However, his song 'khudi ko kar buland, la illaha' was excellent, and the video was great!! It portrayed the early Muslims, who stood up against all kinds of evil with courage and valor.

Yeah, i’m not that big a fan of his but he’s a regular joe with a deep voice. I’d say he’s talented. I can’t remember his songs off the top of my head.

Forget his songs.. I liked his acting in that drama he was in.. errr I forget the name. He looks sweet.. like a lil' kid!

holy cow, the guy couldn't act if you put a gun to little head.
I remember one scene in which he went on and on to his mother (Mahnoor Baloch, if you believe it) about how pretty she was looking and insisted that she must be waiting for someone. She told him off but the guy would not shut up. That was just sick.
He isnt that good...just like that song "Haar Gayi" that's it.

I like Shezad Roy, those of you criticizing him must notice that he writes his own songs unlike some Pakistani singers.
I must admit his early days were much better eventhough he has gained more popularity now days, but his early work, when he was with a band, can't remember the name of the band.
His such greats hits were like Dholna, Active raho, Dastaan, he was a teenager the first time I saw him on MCC.
He was actually born in the states and moved to Pakistan to start his music career after fininshing high school here in Houston Texas.
Umair it just doesn't end at writing your own stuff.. it has to be good too!
There is No Spoon
Shehzad Roy is a mediocre singer and it isnt completely true that he writes his own songs! He has many famous song writers writing for him.
So you think he wrote Iqbal's " Sir e Nihaan'. Personally I have nothing againsts Shehzad. Har gayee and Teri Surat are good songs. But this guy is too obsessed about his looks and his appearance. Personally I like Humble singers. Who dont think of themselves too much unlike Shehzad.
A very interesting fact is that the song "teri Soorat" is a qawalli sung by Aziz Miyan Qawal. Junaid Jamshed was making a song out of it. Shehzad found out and made the song of the same qawalli. When Junaid met Shehzad, Junaid being the bigger man let Shehzad make his song and abandoned to add this song to 'Dil Ki baat'
I like Teri Soorat (video is a good change!) and Haar Gayee ( my favorite song of his)
