Commiting a sin with the intent of getting it pardoned later…is that condoned in islam?
Taking lightly of once Sin is not acceptable in Islam
Sweet People!
Commenting a sin with the idea of being fogiven later is totally ungodly. Absolutely.
Catholic teaching about the forgiveness of sins is geared toward knowing that man is human, and likely sins.
However, does not mean that one can knowingly and intentionally sin and then expect to be forgiven. This would be an example of a mortal sin.
One cannot expect forgiveness when one sins knowingly and intentionly.
Unless, I supppose, one finally recognizes their mistakes. And admit to God their wrongness, and makes every effort possible to correct them.
Only God can and will Judge.
no, that is wrong....
committing a sin, and later repentance for it, will make Allah forgive the sins....
but to commit sins, and hoping Allah will forgive, is wrong....
Allah is just and will not forgive wrong-doers, for it shall not be fair for the righteous....
wrong!
EXACTLY!
I mean how does one know that he is going to be forgiven for that sin.
That sin could be the one which earns him or her a ticket straight to hell fire.
Allah is Oftforgiving and The Most Merciful, but HIS peoples intentions are of great importance to HIM when it comes to judgement of them and their actions. So beware.
so, a sin committed with an aim getting it forgiven later, would not be forgiven by Allah?

but then wont it engender a despondency in people who have sinned....and if they are forgiven, as you said, it would be unfair to people who have not sinned in the first place.....seems like a dilemma to me..:)

Allah is the most merciful, and I cannot imagine how a muslim would not be able to redeem himself, either by making amends for the sin he committed or just by simply praying & repenting.

I wouldn’t say that but I believe it will be harder. See..this is the case
- You Sinned because of your ignorance
- You Sinned despite knowing that it was forbidden
Which will fetch a greater punishment?
Clear?
sin
Assalaamualeikum,
commiting a sin with the intent of asking forgiveness is condemned in Islam.
Allah says in Surah Yusuf, about the brothers of Yusuf(alaihiassalaam), when they plotted to kill Yusuf or throw him in the well, they said:
"Kill Yusuf or cast him out to some (other) land, so that the favour of your father may be given to you alone, and after that you will be righteous folk (by intending repentance before committing the sin), verse 9.
hence it is condemned in Islam
Allah knows best
