Sin

If a person commits a sin with the intent of asking for its forgiveness later, do you guys think if that sin would be pardoned by Allah?

wala alam bis sawab.. as to my knowledge.. amal per neeath ka daromadar hai... what matters is ur intentions over ur actions...and in light of that if ur intention is to sin, why should it be pardoned.. jus because its ok to ask Allah for forgiveness later.. it doesnt make sense...it wouldnt make sense to stab someone because the intention is to ill them. na after they r dead,, u end up sayin opps .. sorrry...does that sorry matter.. and besides i think asking for forgiveness for a sin is for repenting for a mistake thats been made.. a mistake is not intentional... atleast it wont be a mistake if it was predetermined an intentional... Allah knows best

Re: Sin

i dont think such kind of deeds or acts are forgiven.....

Wasn't there a saying of Hazrat Ali about such sin? which went something like that if sin is committed with intentions of begging pardon later it is un forgivable.
I read soemthign like that but if any one can find a good source it would be helpful

Allah (swt) is the ultimate forgiver......it is up to HIM, whether to punish or forgive......

Didn't Allah say that the only sin which will NOT be forgiven is shirk. Therefore, by definition, every other sin may be forgiven by Allah. So its upto HIM. Our job is to constantly ask for forgiveness.
