yeah the preview and the trailer look pretty awsome. They used the whole concept of music videos black & white and colour shots. Any one know the name of the novel?

If they showed full movie reviews along with the trailers than i would know the difference. Otherwise, the trailers make the movies look like an oscar candidate.

Ok I saw it.
I didn’t like it. 
It was too gory for my taste; story was simple.
I liked the mute/silent characters. They were interesting! Anyone who opened his/her mouth bored the heck out of me. I’d have loved to see a face off between wolfboy and Mee-ho’ (sp?).

This is the first movie ive come out of and still undecided if i like it or not. The narratives and dialogue delivery was amazing - true comic book style. Also ofcourse naked busty women are always an added bonus.
I failed to see however how the three plots came together. Like there was cast which was common to atleast two plots in roughly the same timeline but i didnt quite grasp how the plots fused. If they weren't intended to come together then thats really wierd - almost like watching three different movies in one.
It could have done with some less gore but i guess they had to keep that to stay true to the original comic.

What a great film! I really liked it when Mickey Rourke starts killing all those people after his hot piece of *** gets murdered by the Hobbit. His best performance since he got to bang Kim Basinger in 9 1/2 weeks! He can thank Director Robert Rodriguez for giving him a paycheck, now Mickey Rourke can avoid foreclosure on his 2 bedroom condo in Culver City.
Bruce Willis does a great job too. I liked it when he plays a cop who doesn’t play by the rules! And the best part is the love scene he has with hot Jessica Alba, no…wait, that was Lindsay Lohan about 3 weeks ago, that lucky *******…anyway, Jessica Alba somehow convinces Robert Rodriguez that strippers don’t actually show their breasts so she doesn’t actually have a nude scene.
Britany Murphy is a turd.
Rosario Dawson normally looks smoking hot, but even though she’s half naked in this movie, her face looks ugly. Poor girl.
Benicio Del Toro is a dirty cop, like Michael Madsen (of TILT fame) but he loses his head to Clive Owen, who is a stupid *****.
Michael Clarke Duncan is in the movie but he’s much better in the Green Mile.
That hot asian chick Devon Aoki (from 2 Fast 2 Furious) plays a hot ninja chick. :love:
The dominant feature of the film is its visual style. Sin City is shot almost entirely in black-and-white. This is very much Rodriguez’s film - like most of his other projects, it was “shot and cut” by him. and Quentin’s finger prints can be seen some part of the movie.
Every bit of violence, every bit of black and white, every character, every actor, every direction, every scene, every sick and twisted storyline was exceptional.
“Sin City” is worth 10 bucks and it is hard to say that about any other movie that has been released (or will be released) this year.
Watch this movie or die.
