Simple steps to staying healthy this summer

  1. Always wash hands, kids included, when coming from outside.
  2. Use antibacterial spray on sinks, knobs, faucets, toilets to eliminate bacteria.
  3. Air rugs and quilts in the hot sun once in a while. For people with allergies, this could be an issue.
  4. Don’t leave meats, chicken, eggs, dairy, and products containing those ingredients out on the counter for too long.
  5. Defrost meats and chicken in refrigerator.
  6. Keep a hand sanitizer in your purse, and sanitizing wipes for picnics.

Do you mean besides the regular cleaning, to spray them daily?

stay well hydrated :phati:

At least a couple of times a week.

Very true.

Re: Simple steps to staying healthy this summer

Niksik too much of these antibacterial sprays are not so good, as it will destroy the natural body defence against bacterial. I never used them before and am healthy mashallah.

Re: Simple steps to staying healthy this summer

Niksik....most of things you listed are measures one should take all year round not just over the summer.

also...i have to agree with SaadiaB.....these antibacterial sprays and wipes shouldnt be used too often (only when soap and water isnt available) not only for the reason mentioned above by SaadiaB but also because it strips your hands of moisture as well. It's best to use good old fashioned soap (not the anti-bacterial kind) and warm water to wash your hands (if available). If you follow proper hand washing techniques then there is no need for the anti bacterial stuff.

Yeh suggestion tu ameer logon ke leye hain, ghareeb log kia karain ? :frowning:

Bacteria tu dahi (yogurt) main bhi bohat ziada hotey hian :hmmm:

1,2,6 is not for us Pakistanis... we are healthy without them :D

I agree. The only time those antibac sprays/wipes come in handy is when you are traveling and water isn't available. Happens a lot to us. And with kids who get their hand on pretty much anything, they wipes help out.
