Four Phrases that are Heavier in the Scales than an Entire Morning of Thikr:

| |
| | The Mother of the Believers, Juwairiyah bint Al-Harith reported that the Prophet came out from my apartment in the morning as I was busy in performing the dawn prayer. He came back in the forenoon and found me sitting there. The Prophet said,”Are you still in the same position as I left you.” I replied in the affirmative. Thereupon the Prophet said, “I recited four phrases three times after I had left you. If these are to be weighed against all you have recited since morning, these will be heavier. These are:
| |
| | Subhan-Allah wa bihamdihi, ‘adada khalqihi, wa rida-a nafsihi, wa zinatah ‘arshihi, wa midada kalimatihi **{Allah is free from imperfection and I begin with His praise, as many times as the number of His creatures, in accordance with His Good Pleasure, equal to the ink that may be used in recording the words (for His Praise).” (Muslim)

A Phrase that Comes with Rewards in the Millions:

**| | On the authority of Abdullah ibn ‘Umar that the Prophet said,”Whoever enters a market and says:
| |
| | **‘Laa ilaaha ill Allah waHdahu laa shareeka lah, lahul mulku wa lahul Hamdu yuHyi wa yumeetu wa huwa Hayyun laa yamoot, bi yadihil khayr, wahuwa ‘alaa kulli shay’in qadeer’
**| |
| | {**There is nothing worthy of worship but Allah, He is alone without partner, to Him belongs the dominion and the praise, he causes life and death and He is the Living One and will never die. In His Hand is all good, and He is over all things capable.}
**| |
| | Allah will write for him a million good deeds, erase a million of his bad deeds and build for him a house in Jannah .”And in another narration, which is also classed as hasan, instead of mentioning that Allah will build a house in Jannah, it states,”and he will be raised one million levels.” **{Tirmidhi, classed as Hasan by Albani}.

**| | **Beautiful Supplication for Forgiveness:
**| |
| | Shaddad bin Aus (May Allah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (PBUH) said, “The best supplication for seeking forgiveness (Syed-ul-Istighfar) is to say: **Allahumma Anta Rabbi, la ilaha illa Anta, khalaqtani wa ana abduka, wa ana ala ahdika wa wadika mastatatu, audhu bika min sharri ma sanatu, abu‘u laka binimatika alayya, wa abu‘u bidhanbi faghfir li, fa innahu la yaghfirudh-dhunuba illa Anta.
**| |
| | (**O Allah! You are my Rubb. There is no true god except You. You have created me, and I am Your slave, and I hold to Your Covenant as far as I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge the favours that You have bestowed upon me, and I confess my sins. Pardon me, for none but You has the power to pardon).’
**| |
| | **He who supplicates in these terms during the day with firm belief in it and dies on the same day (before the evening), he will be one of the dwellers of Jannah; and if anyone supplicates in these terms during the night with firm belief in it and dies before the morning, he will be one of the dwellers of Jannah.”

Re: Simple Good deeds for All of us to do everyday!

Thanks for sharing!:jazak:

*The kinds of good deeds that a person can do every day include the following: *

1 – Praying in congregation in the mosque **
**It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“Whoever goes to the mosque in the morning and evening, Allaah will prepare for him an honourable place in Paradise every time he goes and comes.”

*Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 631; Muslim, 669. *

2 – Attending funerals and offering the funeral prayer

It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever attends a funeral until he offers the (funeral) prayer will have one qiraat (of reward) and whoever attends until the burial is done will have two qiraats.” It was said: “What are the two qiraats?” He said: “Like two great mountains.”
*Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 1261; Muslim, 945 *

Tenderness and Kindness

Tenderness towards others is very pleasing to Allah and is very meritorious. Ayesha (may Allah be pleased with her always) relates that our holy Prophet has said, 'Allah is kind and likes kindness and gives that reward for tenderness which is nor granted for harmless nor for anything else.” *(Sahih Muslim) *

In another hadith related by Ayesha (may Allah be pleased with her) our Prophet (may he be eternally blessed) says that, “Tenderness adorns everything and if removed would make it ugly." (Sahih Muslim)

Tenderness means that one must avoid using harsh words or harsh attitude in anger, and behave and speak with tenderness. If someone has to be checked or if a difference in opinion is to expressed, one should not be rough or harsh, but speak softly and kindly. If a younger person has to be trained and strictness cannot be avoided, it too should be adopted in moderation or to the extent needed.

Kind behaviour also implies that one must not argue or quarrel with others on every issue and think well of them as far as possible. Even haggling over price should not be harsh or acrimonious. One should be ready to accept another's viewpoint if it is acceptable. and when if it is not so one should withdraw from argument. It is not good to compel others to agree with one's own viewpoint and to force them into submission.

Jabir has related that our exalted that our blessed Prophet said that, “Allah is kind to him who is tender and forgiving in selling as well as buying and even when asking others for his due". (Sahih Bukhari). Hadhifah ibn Yaman has related that our blessed Prophet said that, "A bondsman of Allah who was given much wealth would be brought before Allah and would be asked 'What did you do in the world?' He would submit that 'Oh my Noursher, Thou hadst given me Thine wealth and I traded with it and I was forgiving, so I made things easy for the rich and allowed time to the poor'. Allah would say 'I have more right to behave in this manner' and would then turn to His Angels and command them 'Release this bondsman'. (Sahih Muslim)

Abu Hurairah has quoted our blessed Prophet as saying that, “One who gives time to the poor debtor or gives him some relief, Allah would keep him in the shade of His throne on the Day of Judgement where there would be no shade Save that of His Throne." (Jami' Tirmidhi)

Abu Qatavah has quoted our revered and respected Prophet as saying that, “One who desires to be relieved of the pains and worries of the Day of Judgment, should ease the troubles of the destitute or ease his loan.” *(Sahih Muslim) *

To help a Muslim in some important work and to do it for his sake or to remove his troubles and worries is an act which has been promised much reward by the Prophet. Abdullah bin Omar said that our Holy Prophet said, “'One who helps someone in his need, Allah helps him in his work, and one who removes any worry or trouble of any Muslim, Allah, in return, removes anyone of his worries on the Day of Judgment'. (Abu Daud, Kilab-al-Adab, Bad-al-Muvakhat)

Telling someone the way, sharing someone's load or helping him with it, and all other acts of public service are included in the acts defined by this hadith. "Those who help others are truly much blessed," as the hadith says, “Best people are those who are useful to others.”

Hence all occasions of service, big or small, must be sought for; this increases one's merits. If someone is a victim of tyranny, it is the duty of every Muslim to save him from it.

A hadith tells us that the Holy Prophet said "A Muslim is the brother of another Muslim", and “A brother does not leave his brother helpless nor does he lie to him nor yet makes false promises, nor treats him with cruelty." (Tirmidhi: AI Birr wa-al- Silah)

Another hadith runs as follows, "If a Muslim is being insulted and degraded and his honour besmirched somewhere and another Muslim leaves him helpless, Allah would leave the latter helpless on occasions when he would need help. And if any Muslim helps him in when he is insulted and degraded, Allah shall help him when he would need help" (Abu Da'ud: Adab)

Helping a Muslim includes appropriate refutal of any wrong charges or insinuations levelled against another Muslim. Abu Darda' report that our Holy Prophet has said, "One who defends the honour of his brother, Allah keeps the fire of hell away from his face on the Day of Judgment.” *(Tirmidhi: al Birr wa al Silah, Chapter 20) *

Fear of Allah

Allah - by virtue of His Greatness - should be feared, as has been enjoined time and again in Quran as well as ahadith. Abbas the uncle of our blessed Holy Prophet has related that once he and others were sitting under a tree with the Holy Prophet when dry leaves began to fall from the tree till only green leaves remained. The Holy Prophet said. "This (tree) is like a believer who trembles with fear of Allah and so sheds his sins leaving behind only good deeds". *(AI Targhib, p. 227. vol. 5. ref Baihaqi) *

To create fear of Allah, we should think of His Power and Greatness, of the straits of earlier ummahs and of the chastisement mentioned in Quran and hadith for the disobedient ones. This shall create Allah's fear in the heart and prevent one from wrongdoing, sinning and unlawful acts, and one shall attain piety which is the basis of all good and of deliverance and salvation in this world and in the next. May Allah grant unto us the opportunity for it all Amen.

Respect for Elders

Although piety and knowledge are the true attributes of greatness in Islam, the youngsters have been enjoined to give due respect to their elder. Our Prophet, upon whom be peace, went to the extent of saying that, “He is not of us who does not have kindness for our young and respect for our old.” (Abu Daud and Tirmidhi)

Grey-haired folk have been specially indicated as objects of our respect in hadith. Abu Musa Ashari relates that our Prophet, may he be eternally blessed, said, “Respect for a grey-haired Muslim is a part of respect for Allah.” (Abu Daud)

Another Prophetic saying has been related by Anas, “For youth who respects an old man because of his age, Allah appoints people who shall respect the young man in his old age.”

It was a custom of our eternally blessed Prophet that if a younger member of a delegation began to speak, the Holy Prophet asked him to let the elders speak first. This shows the great emphasis, laid by our blessed Prophet upon respect for elders, which is highly merited and rewarded.

Re: Simple Good deeds for All of us to do everyday!

Very informative article.

Darud

Ahadith mention in detail so many advantages and merits of blessing the Holy Prophet by reciting darud that one can compile a whole book on them, and many learned people have in fact written books on them.

One hadith quotes the Holy Prophet as saying that "One sent by my Sustainer came to me and told me that 'Whoever from your ummah sends darud on you once ten good deeds are recorded on his behalf, his ten (minor) sins are pardoned and he is elevated by ten stages" (Sunan Nisai and Musnad Ahmed, AI-targhib li al Mundhari, P.157 volume 3)

And Anas, a companion, has said that the eternally blessed Prophet said that "When my name is mentioned before anyone it is incumbent upon him to, send darud on me, and whosoever sends darud once, Allah sends His Mercy on him ten times (ibid.)

'My best darud is the darud-e-Ibrahime which is recited in prayers and the briefest is Sallallaho alaihi sallam, the latter also has the same merits as others. It should be noted that when the holy Prophet's exalted name is written, one writes sallallaho alaihi-w-Sallam after it and not salla'am which is insufficient.

Jazakallah :k:

Praising Allah upon Sneezing and its Response

Abu Hurairah has related a Prophetic saying: "Allah likes sneezing and dislike yawning. When anyone of you sneezes he should say “Alhamdulillah” and the hearer thereof should respond “Yar hamakullah” as it is a right of the one who sneezes. (Sahih Bukhari).

There was a time when all observed these norms of Islamic behaviour, but now none even knows them, hence those norms have to revived.

Earn OVER One Million good deeds in just 5 minutes this Ramdhan

Its VERY easy to Earn 500 good deeds a day in Ramadhan.

If you were to manage 500 good deeds every day of Ramadan, you would receive (70 times 500 = 35000) multiplied by 30 days..........1,050,000 deeds! One million fifty thousand deeds!

Just say Subhanallah 100 times, Alhamdullilah 100 times, Allahu Akbar 100 times, La ilaha il Allah 100 times and Astaghfar allah 100 times.

Imagine how much we can earn by doing MUCH more than this!

Third Kalimah: **The word of glorification or the kalima-e-tamjeed**

Subhāna-llāhi, wa-l-hamdu li-llāhi, wa lā ilāha illā-llāhu, wa-llāhu akbar. Wa lā hawla wa lā quwwata illā bi-llāhi-l-ʿaliyyi-l-ʿazīm

Glory be to Allah. And praise be to Allah. And there is no god except Allah. And Allah is the Greatest. And there is no power and no strength except with Allah, the Most High, Most Great.

Ibn Mas’ood (Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah ( ) said: “When I met Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) in the night of Mi’raaj he asked me to convey his Salaam to my Ummah and to tell them that the Paradise has a fertile soil and sweet water, and is like a vast field. And its plants are [the words above].” Another version says: “Whoever recites the words above, a tree in Paradise is planted for him for each word he says.” (Virtues of Dhikr; Tirmidhi)

*SO LETS KEEP RECITING IT AS MUCH AS WE CAN BECAUSE IN RAMADHAN ITS MULTIPLIED EVEN MORE AND WE WILL GET A TREE IN JANNAH INSHALLAH *

Earn OVER One Billion good deeds in under a minute this Ramdhan

Narrated ‘Ubaadah that the Messenger of Allah said, *“Whoever seeks forgiveness for the believing men and believing women, Allah will write for him a good deed for each believing man and believing woman.” *(Tabarrani, classed as hasan by Albani)

So if we pray for ALL Muslims from the beginning till now and until the end of time and inshallah we will get more rewards than we can imagine!

Considering that its Ramadhan those rewards are then multiplied further. So basically in a few seconds we can get MIND BOGGLING AMOUNT OF REWARDS!

If we carry on doing it throughout the year and the rest of our lives imagine how much reward we will end up with?

Hadrat Abu Dharr al-Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that **"my beloved friend "**** (the Holy Prophet Muhammad, may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) has enjoined five things upon me. He has commanded me to love and be close to the poor and the downtrodden, and he has commanded me to look at those in the world who are of lower rank than me, and not at those who are of higher rank, and he has commanded me to be kind to the kinsman and to preserve and keep intact the bond of kinship, and he has commanded me not to ask for anything from anyone as a favour and he has commanded me to speak the truth at all times though it may be bitter for others, and he has commanded me to care nothing for the rebuke of those who revile and villify in the path of Allah, and he has commanded me to recite much the Kalima of **Laa Hawla wa laa Qawwata Illaa Billah (there is no power or strength but in Allah) because all these things are from the treasure-house (of Allah) which is under the ninth heaven. (Ahmad)

Hadhrat Abu Dharr [Ra] narrated that Rasulallah [Saw] said: “Should I not tell you of one treasur e of the unlimited treasures of Paradise?” I replied spontaneously “Oh Rasulallah (Saw) that would be an honour indeed!” **Rasulallah (Saw) said: “That rare treasure is LA HAWLA WA LA QUWWATA ILLA BILLAH.” *(“The strength to do good and to refrain from evil comes from the grace and mercy of Allah!”) - *(Ibn Majah) **

So let us repeat this treasure as much as we can especially during this blessed month and throughout the year!!!

***Very Useful Good Deeds*

Hakeemul Ummah Ashraf Ali Thanvi (R) has stated this in Jazawul Amal, very useful advice for us and Inshallah very fruitful right now, when Ramadan is approaching:

[These six deeds, not very difficult to do, but inshallah by practicing these, the door of all Ibadat (worship) would open up - - Hakeemul Ummah Thanvi (R)]

1. Attaining Deeni Knowledge: Both by reading books and attaining directly from a Scholar is the means to attain Deeni Knowledge. Rather even if one is reading books, it is important to visit a Scholar to clarify understanding and rulings of Islam.

2. Company of the Pious: It is informed by Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam that (Meaning), Among my Ummah, one part will be (steadfast) on the righteos path and will be supported by Allah Taala. Those who will abandon them, will not be able to harm them. Through this Hadith we come to know that always in this world, the Righteous People will be present. You will be able to see with your own eyes the benefit of the Company of the Pious.

3. Salat: Salat should be performed in Jamaah. If that is not possible for any rational excuse, still carrry on saying prayers five times a day. It is through Salat, a relationship would establish with Allah Taala. Allah Taala has stated (We must always keep forth this verse and become highly motivated):

Surely Salah restrains from shamelessness and evil. And indeed remembrance of Allah is the greatest (thing). Sura Ankabut: 45

4. Talk Less and Mix less with people: Whatever say, think and utter. Talking less is a means to save one from several troubles.

5. Muhasaba and Muraqaba: Most of the time think that I’m in front of my Lord. He is observing me (no doubt). He is seeing every of my word, deed and situation. This is Muraqaba (meditation). And for Muhasaba, fix up a time, for instance it may be when going to sleep - recall and remember the deeds accomplished on the day. Now think that you are accounting for those deeds and for the wrong deeds, there is no reply.

6. Tawba and Istegfar: Whenever a wrong takes place, repent; don’t delay. Don’t wait for a time to come or some thing else for making Tawba. Instantly prostrate, i.e. go to Shizdah in solitude and sob; at least pretend to cry and seek Allah Taala’s forgiveness.

These six deeds, not very difficult to do, but inshallah by practicing these, the door of all Ibadat (worship) would open up.
**

Lets magnify our intentions and get even MORE reward for our good deeds!

Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: "Deeds (their correctness and rewards) depend upon intentions, and every person gets but what he has intended." (Agreed upon)

*Ibn Al-Mubarak said : *"May a small deed be magnified by the sincere intention; and may a great deed be diminished by the insincere intention"

If you don't correct you intention you will not get rewarded for your deed even if it is a great one, while you can magnify your humble deed by the sincere intention.

Sa`d bin Abu Waqqas (Radhiallaho anha) reported: We were with the Messenger of Allah (Sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam) when he asked, "Is anyone of you unable to earn a thousand good deeds?'' One of those present asked: "How can one earn thousand good deeds in a day?'' He (Sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam) replied, "By saying: Subhan Allah a hundred times, then one thousand good deeds will be recorded for him or one thousand sins will be blotted out from his record.''

[Muslim]

ITS STILL RAMADAN SO RECITE THIS AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE AND FILL UP YOUR GOOD DEED ACCOUNTS!!!
