Let’s say I wanna send eidi to someone within USA and I want them not to have to go to the bank to cash a check or withdraw funds that I may have automatically transferred, how do I deliver cash? Is that possible?
Re: Silly question but...
does bank include - those cashing place?
I mean you can send a cashier's check or use Western union service. Other than that, there are no option unless you give it to someone and they pass it on.
Sealing it in a envelope is risky.
Re: Silly question but...
Just wrap the cash bill in non-see-thru paper , put it in a colored envelope, stamp and viola! done that many times without problem within USA.

aimply, put in the envelope and sent it by registered mail or simply courrier it. i've done it many many times. its safe, efficient and easy :)
Re: Silly question but…
funguy is right. I have tried that too. If you have got Yellow post-it stickers at home, you can use them to wrap/cover the cash bill. Then fold it in a paper like you fold a letter n close in an evelope and post… :k:
Re: Silly question but...

Emailing money!!
Find out whether your bank and the recipient's bank offer the option to email money. If you have online banking, login to your bank, provide the email of the recipient, who then gets a message in their email with a link allowing them to login to their account and "receive" the money. No need to cash a check or go to the bank.
Granted this assumes that both of your banks offer this service.

Nikki, do you have their bank details? You can automatically transfer it to their account from your account. I recently got eidi from Pakistan this way, so I am guessing you will be able to do this as well. That is if you have their bank details.
Otherwise I would go with recorded delivery, just to be on the safe side.
Re: Silly question but...
Apparently if you wrap the note in carbon paper or kitchen foil, they won't be able to detect that it contains a note and therefore less chance of your mail 'disappearing' or getting to the destination sans money.
