Silence of conservatives: Why no one is protesting an attack on Malala Yousafzai?

Re: Silence of conservatives: Why no one is protesting an attack on Malala Yousafzai?

Actually I agree with Shamraz Khan for once . The civilians should be removed and all these bloody killers called Taliban should be carpet bombed.

The entire Pakistan should have gotten up and made a hue and cry about what happened to Malala .. but there is no voice over it . Quiet like a mouse .
The politicians have done their bit by "condemning" the act .. thats all that these cowards could do ..
The Army is quiet coz they are scared of the Taliban forces and Politicians.

There is no justice in Pakistan for a Civilian.

*I have a favour to ask you all . Please lets stop using the term "Jihadi" for the nuthead Taliban. They are not Jihadi's, they are not Jihadi Forces .. they are criminals , cold blooded , uneducated murderers ... who are defaming Islam and Jihad through their actions. We shouldnt even call them Islamic Militants .. coz they are not .. THey are not fighting for Islam. They are fighting against Islam and killing muslims. *

Altaf gives muftis, ulema 24 hrs to condemn attack on Malala | DAWN.COM

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Thursday gave 24 hours ultimatum to all top muftis and ulema (clerics) of the country to openly denounce the cowardly attack on young Pakistani children’s rights activist Malala Yousafzai or else he will ‘expose’ them, DawnNews reported.

In a statement, issued by the party, Hussain vowed to expose all clerics, who will fail to condemn the attack by banned Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), in his scheduled speech at the party’s workers convention on Sunday.

The MQM chief had declared the attack on Malala as an attack on all humanity and said that perpetrators of the vile act should be swiftly brought to justice.

Malala along with two other schoolmates sustained bullet injuries when armed assailants opened fire on their school van in Mingora city, Swat on Tuesday.

The TTP had taken responsibility for attacking the national peace award winner on the same day.

The Taliban, who have killed thousands of people across Pakistan in the last five years and destroyed hundreds of girls’ schools, have issued a statement saying that any female who opposes them should be killed.

Re: Silence of conservatives: Why no one is protesting an attack on Malala Yousafzai?

so bbc urdu looks like this:

1-awam meen malala case ky khilaf ghussa--muzahery
2-malala ko pindi transfer ker dia gia

3-(smaller one) in 2 days second drone attack, 12 people killed.

Please name one entity who is getting benefit out of malala incident ???

God forbid If I am right, you are going to see more nasty "incidents" in the hands of taliban or who ever.

Re: Silence of conservatives: Why no one is protesting an attack on Malala Yousafzai?

^its not who ever, they accept each and every incident but we are not willing to see. Ask the people who have lived under their shadows in Swat, Buner and FATA. Its getting clearer and clearer with each incident that they dont want peace, they need to be tackled once for all ensuring that least collateral damage takes place.

Re: Silence of conservatives: Why no one is protesting an attack on Malala Yousafzai?

ali, saying night "dark".. is a truth but its also an establish fact.
Talibans are moron, like none other. Period!!

How ever if you see their recent attacks, they seem like hired gun.

Re: Silence of conservatives: Why no one is protesting an attack on Malala Yousafzai?

My mistake.. I did not check the other thread. I just felt sad reading the semantics rather than condemnation for this terrible attack

for example Imran Khan who is well wisher of Taliban and recently he did a failure march in their favor towards Waziristan, where Taliban wanted to welcome him with bombs. Did he condemn Taliban this attack?

PESHAWAR: A US drone attack killed 16 suspected militants and injured six others in the Orakzai agency of Pakistan’s tribal region on Thursday.
Four missiles were fired in the Buland Khel area of the Orakzai agency, which is close to the borders of the North and South Waziristan tribal regions in Fata.
“The attack was aimed at the compound of Maulana Shakirullah, who is the commander of the Hafiz Gul Bahadur group of the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP),” officials said.
The militant wing run by Shakirullah has been linked with the Haqqani network and Al-Qaeda. The Hafiz Gul Bahadur group has been repeatedly accused by the US for being involved in cross-border attacks into Afghanistan.
This was the second drone attack in Orakzai agency. The first came in 2009 in the Khadezai area of Mamozai in Upper Orakzai agency, in which 11 militants affiliated to TTP’s Hakimullah group were killed.
Sources told Dawn.com that the US drone fired two missiles on the headquarters of Shakirullah right at the zero line between North Waziristan and Orakzai agencies.
The strikes destroyed the compound and left 16 suspected militants dead.
When contacted, some security officials – however – said that the strike had been carried out on the North Waziristan side. Drones were still flying over the site of the attack and locals were reportedly staying away from the site.

The identities and nationalities of the militants killed in the strikes is yet to be ascertained.

Earlier in the day, eight people were killed and 20 were injured when a roadside-planted improvised explosive device exploded on Mushti Mela road in Orakzai agency’s Hasanzai Bazar area.

Re: Silence of conservatives: Why no one is protesting an attack on Malala Yousafzai?

I am not talking about civil society or anyone sane in pakistan. i was talking about religious parties who have given "quom ki beti" title to ladies when it suits them.

Re: Silence of conservatives: Why no one is protesting an attack on Malala Yousafzai?

You mean Aafia Siddiqui?

Re: Silence of conservatives: Why no one is protesting an attack on Malala Yousafzai?

^^ yes.

Re: Silence of conservatives: Why no one is protesting an attack on Malala Yousafzai?

I think its about time US stops drone attacks, TTP are more dangerous to Pakistan than drones now, whoever is left by drone will be killed by TTP anyways.

I wish I can support Altaf Hussein on this one but when I look at their own deeds I stay away.

Unfortunately these are ‘Brelvi’ Ulemas, who recently torpedoed the country in ‘naamoos-e-risalat’, ‘Qadri’ etc., I want to see condemnation from likes of Fazlu, Qazi, JI etc.
