… Thankfully, contrary to other Pakistani citizens, Pakistani Sikhs have nothing against pakistan
Blasphemy: Sikhs stage first-ever protest
LAHORE: For the first time in the history of Pakistan, Sikhs from all over the country staged a protest here on Thursday in front of the Lahore Press Club against a blasphemous act of a Sikh leader in Haryana.
The Sikhs, with Karpans and Sri Sahib (sword), raised slogans against the person accused of committing the blasphemy and demanded his immediate arrest, public hanging as per the verdict given by the supreme body of the Sikh religion, Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Golden Temple, Amritsar.
Sikhs from all over Pakistan gathered at Gurdwara Dera Sahib, near the Lahore Fort, and offered Ardas (prayers) in the morning before reaching the press club.
At the club, they raised loud slogans against Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, who had acted like the 10th master of Sikh Religion at his so-called dera in Sar Saa, Haryana.
Gurmeet has not only dishonoured the Sikh religion, but he tried to defame Islam, Christianity and Hinduism at his deras situated in different places of the East Punjab and Haryana.
Gurmeet first put on clothes like Guru Gobind Singh and like the 10th master, who gave Amrit (sweet) to his five beloved who would give their lives on his command, has given a drink (sharbat) called ‘Insaniyat Ka Jam’ (drink of humanity) to seven people. Gurmeet named all the seven as seven stars (saat sitaray). He has also issued 40 laws to govern the Sikhs at his dera which he named ‘Dera Sacha Sauda’ in Haryana.
Anyway, apparently there have been many mass protests by Sikhs in Northern India too regarding the same issue. This was the first time I heard about this organisation (Dera Sacha Sauda, Dera Sacha Sauda - Wikipedia). A little research tells me they arent a bad organisation at all, they are not political and a non-profit organisation (started in 1948). They aim to respect all religions yet follow none exclusively. They do seem to have a good basic ideology but ofcourse this incident of the dude dressing up like a Sikh guru was uncalled for. Also, their leadership has repeatedly refused to openly apologize about the incident which obviously led to more problems.
Its nice that Sikhs living here do own Pakistan. If India is not giving them their rights in Punjab, we can give Sikh Pakistanis all their due rights that they want.
But definitely nothing can be done about this issue as its been done over the border.
I wish there were more Hindus and Sikhs in Pakistan
why not?
having more hindus and sikhs in pakistan will give pakistan more diversity
you would think so..
Well I have met Pakistani Hindus-Christian.
Sorry for talking excitement away but they are just like Pakistani not even a tiny bit different from us.
They are totally different then people from India.

shushhhhhhhh!
When we were little we were staying at our uncles house. He is in politics.
A school principle came to visit him. Principle was sitting in guest room.
My cousin told me principle was a hindu.
Oh my god we were so exited we ran to guest room hid behind curtains and peeped in so we could see a HINDO for first time.
Guess what??
I was a very normal Pakistani(rather reasonable) person sitting on sofa waiting for my uncle.
We were very disappointed. And we came back.
^I will agree with KA that until and unless the person tells you they are christians in Pakistan you would not even know, they are just like any other Pakistani.
