The slogans being shouted by the protesters were indicative of their feelings. Some of the more popular slogans of the day were, ‘Indian, out of Khalistan’, ‘Sikhs demand Khalistan,’ ‘Who is the Terrorist? Indian government.’, ‘Liberty of Death,’ ‘Free political prisoners,’ ‘We shall overcome’ etc.
