they actually dont call themselves Punjabis though, they call themselves Pakhtoons the ones who are brought up and living in Peshawar, i live in and around peshawar when i visit Pakistan, and was pleasently surprised as they speak Pakhtu fluently and actually call them selves pakhtuns!
