Are you equating Taliban's demand of hefty ransom from Sikh family with constitutional Tax system of government?? Well my dear young mujahid, you are wrong even in this.
Government Tax system is based on overall INCOME bracket. let me point you a simple example.
In India a person has to pay Income tax only when his yearly income exceeds 1 hundred 20 thousand rupees. Sounds new to you, isn't it?
I am sure, Pakistan government will also have similiar kind of tax system with income brackets.
The reason, for this income bracket is to ensure that poor people should not pay tax, because their income will not exceed the bracket of 1.2 lakh per year!
Now in this case, these beloved, pious, righteous wahhabi Talibanis have asked a hefty some of 50 million from 15 families. And these families are poor!
This is purely due to discriminatory system of Talibanis and their hatefilled ideology, no justification whatsoever, if you compare even government system.
