What are the views of Shia’s regarding these Ahadeeth books? One question that I have seen Shias raise is that too many ahadeeth have been attributed to Abu Huraira (RA) and not the Ahlul Bayt. What do you guys think?
Re: Sihah e Sitta
Not that i have read those books but have heard that the hadeeths that contradict the quran out number to those which dont or are doubtful ..
Re: Sihah e Sitta
My view, and general Shia view, is that no book of Hadith is 100% authentic or Sahih, and that all hadiths must be checked against the principles set by Quran and Mohammad wa Aalay Mohammad. So within Shia academic circles the Sihah collections are looked at from narration to narration basis.
Some issues are related to how each sect considers different people trustworthy and for many personalities contrasting opinions are held so that is a first point of difference. More than half of the traditions are from Hazrat Aisha, Abdullah ibne Umar, and Abu Hurayra, all personalities questionable for different reasons.
Secondly, often Sihah work narrate from people who were known for their hatred and enmity for Ahlul Bayt so taking a narration from them for Shia would be a big no-no such as people like Umar ibne Saad, and others who would openly curse commander of the faithful Imam Ali.
Lastly, some of the traditions seem firmly in contradiction to Quran, and the teachings of Mohammad wa Aalay Mohammad.
Re: Sihah e Sitta
Any examples of the ahadith which are concerned contradictory to Quran and sayings of the prophet (SAW)?
Re: Sihah e Sitta
وَإِنَّكَ لَعَلَىٰ خُلُقٍ عَظِيمٍ
[68:4] And thou (standest) on an exalted standard of character.
To start of with some narrations present the character of Prophet (saww) in highly objectionable manner. You can look them up.

Re: Sihah e Sitta
Me too plz
I heard about a Dua that Prophet SAW made to a tribe in Central Arabia. Later Abu Huraira R.A accpted Islam and was said to have that blessings of that dua.
Abdul Nasir Jagda has a great lecture on Power of Supplication, in which he mentioned couple of powerful duas that Prophet SAW made. The other dua was at Al-Taaif, where Prophet was thrown at stones for a strech of 3 Miles along with Zaid R.A., covered with blood but instead of cursing he made dua that if not these people but their next generations may accept Islam. Later the conqueror of Sindh/Hind Mohammed Bin Qasim Al-Taqaffi was from the same tribe.
