How can you notice signs of depression in other people? Like they are not happy all the time?They are bored from world? They don t like to socialize

I think its very hard to pin down depression by certain symptoms coz there are so many different types of depression.

however , physical symptoms might include a person crying over little things , losing appetite, slower speech … always looking like they havnt slept in ages … Laziness …
suicidal thoughts , or always feeling like its the end of the road with no hope for survival etc etc …

these are not signs of depression, they are just introverts.

Introversion is “the state of or tendency toward being wholly or predominantly concerned with and interested in one’s own mental life”. People with depression very easily hide their feelings in front of people..

I think it is the opposite they are loud and happy-go-lucky in front of people.

A depressed person can act either too quiet or too attention seeking and outgoing .. its a totally individual based symptom …

However , suicidal thoughts is definitely a strong sign of depression .. at least its classed that here in the UK …

Suicidal thoughts are signs of extreme depression, I don’t know about being quite for a long time.

depression can affect people in different ways. but most common tell-tale symptoms are alot of crying, feelings of hopelessness and helplessness, sometimes anger, overeating or undereating, lack of sleep or too much sleep and a general lack of interest in living or experiencing life.
