I was just looking from a bird’s eye view what we post here and how most of us (including myself) behave at certain time just for the sake of conveying the right thing what we consider right. But at doing so, have we ever realised that creating a fuss out of a petty matter is like creating a fitnah which is what ALLAH:swt: says in Surah Baqarah as “Fitnah is Worse than Murder” ? At one hand, it is a jihad in the path of ALLAH:swt: to correct the people of what wrong they might have been doing wrong and if a wrong information creates a fitnah and people indulge in wrong ideas about their faith, at the same time, on the other hand, after stating what is right in our understanding, we just stoop to a level of fight and many a times our behaviours tick the other person off. That just kills the spirit of the whole point.
I read the following hadeeth in a book by Mufti Justice Muhammad Taqi Usmani:
**ﻖﺤﻣ ﻮﻫ ﻭ ﺍﺮﻤﻟﺍ ﮎﺮﺗ ﻦﻤﻟ ﻪﻨﺠﻟﺍ ﻂﺳﻭ ﻰﻓ ﺖﻴﺑ ﻢﻴﻋﺯ ﺎﻧﺍ **
which means that Rasoolulah:saw: said: Whoever stops the argument (fighting) while he/she is on the truth, I am ready to have a house built in the middle of Jannah (Paradise) for that person.
This hadeeth just tears the heart out from the chest.
I pray that each one of us are guided to the right path of the Quran of ALLAH:swt: & Sunnah of the Last Prophet:saw: and that each one of us finds sometime out to forgive each other for whatever wrong have been done here.
Difference of opinion is all good for it brings quest of knowledge as was in the case of the Companions ridhwanullah AliyehaY Ajm’aeen but arguing over the basic tenents of Islam is all ridiculous and ignorant of us IMHO. I believe that we ought to shut our mouth about giving a definitive statement on such matters until we educate ourselves enough for that.
Hence, I wish happy Ramadhan to all of you and pray that may the blessings of ALLAH:swt: be upon you and that the guidance comes to all of you from a place unimaginable.
I only ask you guys to pray for me for life is too short and you will never know what goes about any given day in life. I ask for forgiveness to those whom I may have hurted intentionally or unintentionally.
