Camels will always be used for transport. I guess apocalypse cannot happen unless
a: either all camels die out
b: Deserts are converted into golf courses and people living there become caddies.
Either way, I can alwys clone a camel and then use it for transport to mess with the whole apocalyptic thingie...god must get so frustrated to have given us a brain. No sign...no apocalypse. baat khatam!!!!
Were they using camels in China or mesoamerica when this sign was written? No..because it is all about desert dwelling people...
If someone wrote the quran in present day peru, they would have wrote about al-pacas. Or if it was written in Australia, it would have said kangaroos.
let's not think of the beuatiful messages within the book and confuse them with universal law.
Now, if you are saying that the apocalypse has to do with people getting the old shock and awe, i.e. brmstone and fire from god in arabia, then it makes sense. But it doesn;t make sense in beijing and India and Seattle.
So I would read this as when the camels are not being as transport in arabia, peoplein arabia are in for it.
^ In arabia Mr. fatehahmad in Arabia. It is a local sign for local people. There are no camels in Australia. It is not a universal sign meant for the world. This brimstone adn fire analogies and signage is a biblical/semitic/localized phenomenon. people in the middle east should make sure they take their camels to work every day. Otherwise god would be pissed.
funny that when I was little and had not been to the city I thought the biggest bridge in the world was built on a nehar next to our khait. Believe me that was a very very big bridge.
so how tall are supposed to be very tall buildings to fulfill the pre-requiste for apoclypse?
Men will pass by people's graves and say: "Would that I were in his place";
That is right on..some of the expensive stones on some graves..ah God...my wife suggested what about stealing this pice for our kitchen counter. amazing what money can buy..even after you are dead.
Camel is just used as a symbol to tell that the current form of transportation would no longer be needed. if 'Horse' or 'Kangaroo' would have been used to make a point, you would have make the same argument about them also.
I believe that Arabic is the mother of all language from which all the other modern languages (including Hebrew, Aramiac) are derived and it is the first language used by Allah to communicate with humans.

^ Actually that is not true. there is no such thing as world's first language. Sumerian in persent day Iraq was the first language written down but it's usage ended.
Arabic was spoken by nomads and herders in southern arabia. there are a lot of languages older than that.
