^lol

:hehe: bachee ko marwana hay kia ?
Hey Sheyn stay away from those areas. You could hear police sirens in those neighborhoods on 24x7x365 basis. :silly:
I lived in LA and suburbs for 7 years so I know.

How many days would suffice ?

**thanks , i'll check out those areas for sure **

which of those places do u live in ?

*** i'll be sure to drop by :D***

You forgot Alcatraz Namaan :p

Everything is near by Sheyn, depends on how much time you want to spend there?

I'd recommend 2-3 days .. when I used to take family around SF, it was usually for the day and it was all so rush rush ... but we used to manage :D

I personally don't like being rushed.

As for LA .... how many days have you got? and then plan according to that? You will find plenty to do if your worried about that. And if your worried you may not have enough days, then plan it so that you see the sights you want to most first ...

Inglewood (always upto no good) :P

i've got about 3-4 days in LA and in SF so i think i've got enough time , i just want to be able to use them fruitfully !

i'll be sure to send u flowers :p

Re: Sightseeing in Los Angeles/ San Francisco

From SF, if you have a spare half day, a great trip is to go to the Muir Woods (esp if u don't have time to go all the way over to Yosemite) since you can see the giant sequoia trees.. we drove down there and even the drive was amazing, going from the sunshine of SF to the microclimate of the cool misty woods through winding mountain roads.. they hav park ranger types to give you a tour and some history of the place, was really worthwhile..

also, stop by in Sausalito on the way back to SF for a lovely seaside town where you can see the island where a lot of Hollywood stars (eg Brad Pitt) have homes..

if you are driving from LA to SF or vice versa, be sure to take the ocean route for some of the most spectacular scenery in the world (you’ll be driving through the stunning Big Sur area) and try to stop off in Monterey or beautiful Carmel beach if you can..

The coastal route is definitely a must to do, especially from Hearst Castle to Big Sur, it's amazingly beautiful. I have just come from Pismo Beach to Monterey along route 1 and it was simply awesome.
You should stop at Pismo Beach that is in San Luis Obispo area. If you like adventure sports then rent an ATV at Pismo Beach and drive on sand dunes. You must stop at Hearst Castle. One of the most beautiful private residence built in the US. City of Carmel, Pebble Beach, Monterey, Half Moon Bay are all good stops.
Once in San Francisco you must drive to Yosemite National Park (about 3-4 hours drive) and Lake Tahoe (4 hrs). You should also eat at Shalimar Restaurant (one in Fremont) for some amazing tikka/kababs. You can also eat at a beautiful restaurant called Moss Beach Distillery (it's assumed to be a haunted place) that is right at Pacific ocean shore.
You can also visit Redwood Forests 4-5 hours North of San Francisco or at minimal go to Muir Woods as mentioned above. Another interesting place is Napa Valley.
I am sure you know that Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz and Crooked Street (Lombard Street) are most common tourist attractions of San Francisco City.
