I am lookin for some legal advise. I broke my nose last year playing sports. I didnt have an actual insurance but did have a uni insurance and the isnurance from my league. Both of these were secondary so i was told to contact league insurance first. Its been over an year and they havent accepeted or rejected my calim, first i had prblms with leauge officals and now the insurance agent.
I am not worried if he rejects my case coz my uni insurance will cover me; but i cant make a claim to uni insurance unless they reject me. Now after an year guy wants me to start over and i have planned to sue him …
I am planning to pay my bill coz hosptial guys r bugging me too, shld i just go ahead and pay my bill and deal with insurance agent in court ?
any advise plz !
Hmm, once you pay the bill, I think insurance will give you a hard time reimbursing you than if you stick to your guns and make the insurance pay. Start over- they're probably trying to make you frustrated and just give up on them.

Whenever you see a doc or go to a hospital in US, they have you sign a form that says basically if your insurance company refuses to pay then you will pay. Thats why, at this point they're asking you to pay. Its been going on too long.
I think I'd go after the insurance company more aggressively. Call their main office and talk to a manager, not a weasely claims processor. If that manager doesnt take care of it for you, go to your Uni, probably the HR director would be best since they are usually the ones who deal with insurance contracts.
If you just pay the bill yourself, youre going to have an even tougher time getting that money back. Give it a little more time and go to people who are more able to help.

Pursue the insurance company and get the support of the University who could also put pressure on the insurance company on your behalf.
You are entitled to the money, it is you right. It will be harder for you to be reimbursed at a later date than claim from the offset. They will become even more obscure and will dodge your calls etc.
Write a letter to the person who is dealing with your insurance claim. Follow this up by writing to someone senior than them and highlight to them all the issues you have had with the insurance company and the delays you have dealt with regards to your claim.
Be patient and don't give up. Be more firm in your approach and keep pursuing them.
