No, not competing but what them to do even better than I did, so help and encouragment is a must.

I am second youngest out of five brothers, and three sisters.
My eldest brother passed away very recently, i will never be able to compete with his noble spirit.
I have no rivalry with any of my siblings, now that were all old men, with Sulieman my little 17 year old baby brother more like a my retainer.
In my fammily we all know our place, and my second eldest brother is recognised as leader of the household, after my father. I serve my duty as the guardsman of the house. Insha-Allah Sulieman will one day take my post when i am no longer at home.

I'm the second eldest of 4 and I've never felt like I'm in competition with any of them. In fact I agree with the other poster. I'd want my siblings to do better than me in everything.

Yes we do have competition, but I feel like its totally natural. I, of course want them to succeed in life and everything like that, no real competition there. Competition arises usually in other things, such as sports or when 'winning' is involved......its all in good fun.
