they r Beta fish..and I thought they r Japenese...I know one cant keep 2 beta male fish in the same bowl..they fight a lot..even if the bowls r close:)

pretty! i’ve one of those too, i keep him at the office. mine’s scarlet… he’s been around for abt 3.5 yrs now (mashallah se) … and since they’re expected to live only 3-4 yrs, i keep expecting to walk into my office anyday now and see him floating on his side on top of the water :bummer:

i think he’s lived so long coz i use this medication called betta remedy, and also a water conditioner every time i change the water. take good care of ur guy.. what’s he called?

and be careful with the water level.. don’t have it very high.. one time i was working and i heard a plop! sound… the silly fish had jumped right out of the bowl and was gasping on my desk! i picked him by his slippery tail and dropped him back in… Allah jaane how he’s still alive after all these harkatein :hehe:
