ahhhh sialkot heaaa’ :dhimpak:

sike. I know Sialkot is best known for providing sports equipements all over Pakistan and maybe even all over the world, but not sure.

Anyone like to share their fav’s and nonfav’s regarding Sialkot. I have been to the place of Iqbal long time ago .. can recall it vivdly..I think it has been converted into mueseum or something, not sure.

Just kidding. Mein Pak Pattan Shareef mein paida hua tha. That is the city of a famous bazurg Baba Fareed. It’s close to Indian Border (about 50 miles or so away) :hmmm:

sialkot is also known for manufacturing surgical goods..

next time when lois needs a brain surgery, we know where to buy the drill machine from

I am from Sialkot :) Definitely a lot of people in Business of Surgical goods/leather good/sports equipments. Few of our family friends from Sialkot here in NJ are in one of these businesses...weird.

As for Allam Iqbal, pretty much his home has been preserved somewhat as is & people are allowed to tour/visit. I have been there once, it was a good tour. I love shopping is Sialkot strangely, perhaps because the stores are so familiar to me, as opposed to Pindi/islamabad where my hubby is from. I had NO fun in shopping there, didn't know anything about where to go etc for good styles/deals etc.

I just wish over time, Sialkot develops better infrastructure, better roads overall as compared to other cities. Otherwise I love my Pind :)

Yea I wish that as well. Heard they are building or have constructed a new airport .. another international airport in Pak? interesting..
All I remember about sialkot .. Taangaas! :dhimpak: it was soo much fun sitting on em n then make face to the bike ride from the back :phati:
haha i was usch a kiddo.
I have no experience regarding shoppin etc etc .. didnt go there much =/
But do remember going to Qila once and to the place of Iqbal.
