which ever method you go with make sure you act natural. Avoid being fake because people will be watching you and they’ll be able to tell if you are trying to hard either way. I would recommend you say Salam and greet people when they come to meet you but don’t be overly social. Enjoy your event

Thanks! I am very social normally but with people that I do not know, I tend to be very shy. I do not want to talk to some people alot and other not too much. My fiance’s extended family tends to create drama. If you talk to one person more than the other, than they will be like “O, she treated us wrong” or “she is not respectful”
so this issue is a little bit confusing for me
