^ Totally agree. Allah says those of you that keep 'pardah' (Conceals) Things, Allah will surely coneal your things on the day of judgment!!!
I know ALOT of things about ALOT of people i could EASILY go and tell their parents but what gain wud i have?? Its childish each to their own. If Allah can forgive us who are we to judge???
Since the children are doing it on back of the mom, you would not able to solve the problem by reporting them to the mom (may be seen as scoring points over her opinion about yourself). Unless they decide to change themselves.
Since are conducting workshops on teen issues, means you are professional enough to decide right action rather asking at this forum where most of participants are lay person.
Honestly speaking this is the problem with so called holier-then-though peoples, have you heard Chrigh- Tale - Andhera (darkness beneath Lamp)?

ahhh but allah also says if you see something wrong, stop it by taking action, if you cant stop it by taking action stop it by voice, i.e. by speaking up, and if you cant do that then think that it is bad and that is the weakest sign of imaan.
Just thought that since we are using Gods words for a stance, to have the benefit of some other ones.
the concealing portion that you noted is regarding gossiping and spreading a la mohallay ki buaa to the entire community, it is not about telling parents about their kids or brother about brother etc with an intention to help stop some wrong.

Ok, I might as well close this thread. As my initial statement said I've already decided to shut my mouth. I'm not saying anything to anyone about this. I'm sure the mother knows. And it's none of my business.
