Shumaila Kanwal, the wife of one of the Pakistanis shot and killed by Raymond Davis has tried to commit suicide by eating rat poison. Ali Naqi, a doctor in Faisalabad city treating Shumaila Kanwal, said she told him she took the poison because she believes her husband’s suspected killer will be freed without trial. “He is being treated like a VIP. I want justice”, she said.

^ I heard on ARY that she is no more. That link I posted in the first post also states she is dead. But the body isn't being handed over to her family for some reason. I am not sure if this is definitely true.

If the suicide attempt had turned out to be successful…and justice were to be done…she wouldn’t have been around to see it, I sympathize with her for her loss. I’m not in her situation, so I can’t imagine what she’s going through emotionally and psychologically. But at the same time I can’t help thinking, “C’mon woman, what would that accomplish?”

Unfortunately you just don’t get it. Romanticism is not an issue of a play or real life. Its the notion that there is more to love. I bet she killed herself because he was in love with another man, or she was bloody happy she was not cooking dinner anymore.
