Shrotage of Gas/petrol in South East fo USA.

Saturday morning one of my neighbors and good friend called to get a ride to Masjid for Fajr prayer he told me that he does not have gas in both his cars.
We both went there when we were coming back we saw gas being available at one of the neighborhood gas stations. I told him to comeback and get tanks of both of his cars filled. He did that and was very happy to pay $4.59 per gallon. There were people at the station who were ranting about price gouging. I guess it is price gouging because in the same city there are some stations which are selling gas for $3.89 per gallon.
So anybody else feeling gas crunch ? What is your story ?
