you guarantee me immunity from Roman rite?
I’ll give you a neat shortcut to the recipe cause as much as i love freshly prepared food, i dont have the time so i take advantage of as many shortcuts as I can
Shan’s got a Fish Biryani Masala, although the masala is pretty awesome their recipe for biryani sucks
redients For Marinade
Shan fish Biryani Masala
Fish ( i usually use Perch Fillets cause they dont break up when cut in cubes and survive a little bit of bhooning) I kg if using fish only or half a kg if combining with the shrimps
Shrimps (forget those teeny weeny ones, they’ll disappear in the biryani, use larger ones like King or Tiger or Green Prawns)
You could only use Shrimps or use fifty fifty fish and shrimps its up to you
Lemon Juice of one lemon
Lehsan as many as you like ( i put around four cloves)
Igredients for the Biryani
Onion 1.5 if medium
Tomato 1
Dhania 5-6 dandis
Podeena as much or as little as you want
Green Chilles 5
Mushrooms 5-6 ( i usually add mushrooms if the recipe doesnt have any redmeat in it so its optional but they taste awesome)
Prepare the fish and the shrimps for the marinade then mix the lemon juice, lehsan and Shan Masala (usually half a packet is enuff otherwise it becomes too spicy)
leave it for half an hour
cut onions, dice tomatoes, cut dhania and slice mushrooms
put the rice on to cook before you start cooking the fish so its ready when the fish is done
brown the onions, add the marinated fish and cook it for five to ten minutes then add tomatoes and green chillies and dhania and cook it for another five minutes
spread the podeena leaves on the top of this masala and add the cooked rice
place the sliced mushoroms on top of the rice (they become soggy if placed under the rice)
let it on dam for fifteen minutes
