Show me some lightly embroidered COTTON suits.

Ladies: I have looked thru pages and pages of embroidered suits but cant find anything cotton and lightly embriodered.

I know they exist but maybe they are just not that popular?

I dont really have the occassion to wear very ornate ones but i could wear a cotton one with less work to church.

So where should i look to find these?

(And I dont mean lawn either because that is too casual)

Re: Show me some lightly embroidered COTTON suits.

hopefully someone will be able to show something.

but you know, for me and my family anyway, those kinds of suits are embroidered by women who work from home. that's the only way they can be made for a low cost; what one would want to pay for such a suit.
they do things like 'Aar' embroidery by hand and can jazz it up a with cut dana and sequins. the prices are minimal for the labour and therefore any seller can only take a small amount of profit selling it on or the outfits seem overpriced. it's much easier to take the same profit on just having kapra stitched (such as thread and motifs) but with much less trouble. or the same amount of work on their part to produce a formal and therefore charge an according amount.

time wise it's unreliable so i can see why it would be difficult to offer custom made outfits, too.

I dont know. My aunt just sent my mom a suit, its on a stiffer but still soft cotton, not lawn(I dont think)

Is plain cream colored with embroidery and sequins.

I will post a pic when i get home from work.

I dont think its done by anyone at home nor is it inexpensive. But i am not sure.

I will let you know.

THanks for responding.
