I didn't want antique look either for my bridal either! I feel that the outfit kaam should be a bit brighter. Thus, I am getting gold and silver kaam on mine with gems, but the style of the lehnga is almost the same. I am also adding aqua blue piping on the edges of the dupatta, gown, and the lehnga. I am also trying to add 1 inch plated frill on the bottom of the lehnga, if the PLK people are able to put it on nicely.

Regarding the color of the kaam, my cousin in Karachi told me that the kaarigars are using copper and rustic color kaam on bridals, which makes it sound as though antique look is 'in' these days in Pakistan! Not sure though!

I hope it will looks good !, but after seeing this picture i really dont like the dress because it is very old style .. sorry.

I remember this bride on Toronto photographer Garima Singh’s blog. She looked good on all 3 days, and her yellow nikah outfit was nice, too. Anyone know the designer? I had found the name online and now I don’t remember.
