If these are the only 2 options, then i think we can bear 'Gaddafi' Stadium for a couple of more years. Once this jamhoori hakoomat is done with its khidmat tenure, then it could be changed back to its original name, Lahore Cricket Stadium.

hm Lahore cricket stadium sounds simple and fitting. But our government always complicates simple things so I will be surprised if they choose that.

For so many years a dictators name has given it a bad name now name it "Jamhooriat Stadium" to make up for this sin.

To be honest, I am surprised as to how quickly our then government named it after Gaddafi. Maybe they should reward our most reliable friend along with China.

so as a tribute, they should rename it to King Abdullah Cricket stadium! Maybe he will throw in few of his riyals renovating it..
