^ @Mirch - Don’t you think we have erased gender roles to an extent? Keep in mind I am really just targeting desi women who do not reside in a male dominating country. Women just like men are encouraged to earn a living and support themselves so I don’t get this attitude that they should be able to quit whenever they like and not lose any liberty when it comes to financial decision making. It’s a double standard in my book. O and they frown upon the idea of their husbands quitting their job.

P.S. I am not a women’s rights activist. I just don’t like double standards. It’s a sad fact that it’s normally women on the receiving end of these double standards and abuse. This time it’s men!
