I think he has another 3 years of cricket left in him. He must have restricted himself to test cricket by now. But too bad the much hyped world’s greatest batting line up is so fragile that they still need him in the ODI. At this age and the amount of cricket played these days demands him to play less ODIs to avoid injuries. He still has lots of room to make more and more world records so it will be virtually impossible anyone to meet him on numbers.
it wouldn't make sense, the guy is barely 30 yrs. and given his age, he has arguably not even reached his prime.
once he regains full fitness, he will be back to dominance as usual. i think he has at least 4-5 good years left. but i think if he is flying high in 2-3 years, he may choose to retire on top.

See, thats the problem. You guys expect that he is yet to reach his full potential. I am not of view that he is finished or something like that but his absolute dominance days are over. Indian punblic should let him breathe easy now.
i’m sorry but retirement ka khiyaal throw it out of the window rite now! 10di’ is a superb player, he needs to prove nothing to anybody, his bright career speaks for itself, he’s been “their and done it all” he is a living legend and he can walk into any test or odi line up with ease.
the guy comes back from injury doesn’t perform in the 1st innings and that is enough to critisize his performnace ohhhh pleazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Typical Tendulkar. A good knock in a lost cause.

well, they won the match.
i think the series win is a cheap victory for the aussies, every one of them knows india wouldve won the 2nd test. on a pitch that produced a high run total, indians needed barely 200 with all 10 wickets in hand, and very high morale.
i am still thoroughly disappointed in the indians' aggregate performance, but this series should have been a draw. ODI's have such complicated rain adjustment formulas...the 4th test opening was delayed, and there the solution was to just cancel. each test had a week in between, surely 1 day would make no difference.
i think the aussies were the better team, but the better team doesnt always win....and sometimes they draw. thats what should've happened.
