Yes. I am in favor of doing this in India. This would dis-empower the pimps. Prostitute unions and self-help groups should be created. Their income needs to be taxed. Pricing and anti-monopoly mechanisms need to be established.

closing our eyes does not make the problem go away. In a country like India, I think it is the need of the hour.
Here I would like to narrate a small incident … Had been to a pub in Bangalore and there was this guy sitting next to us. After sometime he came and introduced himself as a “Relationship Management Expert” and handed over his card to us. I was clueless about what this guy was upto, but my friends realized what he was(a p!mp) and asked him to bugger off.
