NO.

Spies: kid on the iphone in india would have more data on pak, then a spy in pakistan in 1970s or 80, I never understood anger against spies.
Terrorist: they way our brain works, if we execute them, their people would retaliate, their country would have no choice but to do some thing about it.
As non human concept of prison is, it still stop them from doing the damage + their related people stays calm.

That’s fair. How do we keep the repeat of this sad incident in the future though? Is there a feasible solution that may prevent this again?
