Re: Should Pakistan have free elections next year?
These elections should return Mushy and Aziz to power for many years, insha-Allah.
Re: Should Pakistan have free elections next year?
That I can't say about, but chances are that its true, considering the fate of Ziaul Haq.

Economy has nothing to do with rich or poor. If our economy is strong, doesn't mean we are rich.
Then what in YOUR opinion means when economy is strong? Economy is not driven by government ministers, it is a reflection of state of people and revolving of money. The better the numbers mean more money is getting to revolve which then generally spills out to more people.... more people getting more money, you see what I am saying here?

For example, England is richer country than Canada, but in terms of technology/economic issues, Canada has the upper hand. Who are dying? Our brothers/sisters. They do not get enough food and they are not getting served enough food in few cities.
Where? Please be clear. Are you talking about Pakistani cities here?
Where are you now? See our people in Queeta, Attuck, Kohat, Abtabat. How do those people survive? Just go there and we will know. I hope you already know about that.
If you are referring to poor people in general dying of hunger, then I agree with you that probably in every city people are dying, but then again this epidemic/crisis is not limited to just some cities or just Pakistan, unfortunately its all around the globe.

Pervez Musharaf hasn't won the election that held before. He cheated. There were millions of vote and who would count them. I guess you didn't know about that too. These are not my words. I have many references from that. First of all, from my Dad. My relatives and many other people. People in Pakistan do not know all about this because the things are hidden there.

There is no need to discuss whether he was elected or selected, his taking over government was the first illegal step in becoming the dictator, rest are just coverups.

Forbidding bollywood movies will not solve our problem, but it is bad effect for us. Actually sorry, I was tending to say that watching movies should be forbidden. First of all, it is against our religion Islam. Second of all, waste of time. It's not right. Look at Saudi Arabia, we should follow like their rules. We should do the same the punishment of robbery; cutting off hands.
We can't cut hands straight away, we are first responsible for providing food to everyone, if after that people still steal then we can chop hands off, we can't be as blind as Saudis.
The only question arises "Who would solve that problem"? We just need a noble President who can take things positive.

There is a hadith which tells us that your government is a reflection of YOU, if you go out on street you will see that almost everyone is corrupt to some extent, some are VERY VERY corrupt, some are barely corrupt, similarly the government is corrupt as well. If we start to improve ourselves, so will government, its not a DIRECT relationship but that is how it works.
Re: Should Pakistan have free elections next year?
JazaKallah bro for replying, there are few points that I have disagreed.
Exactly, that's what Americans might do to Pervez Musharaf as they did to Ziaul Haq. Americans use their brain for everything. First they let two countries into a fight, then they go for an attack so the countries become weak.
There is a different between having a high technology and rich country. High technology means more development, more money, but doesn't mean it is rich. Okay let's stick to the topic.
First of all, Saudi Arabia is doing all right as a rule. They are not blind. According to Islam, the hands should be cut off as the punishment of robbery. Prophets and Sahabas were extremely strict at the punisment. For drinking, there were the punisment of 73 Korray, like a stick/belt, which people could die before the 73 number of Korray. Hadrat Umar Farooq (R.A.) did to his son Abdullullah for drinking mistakely. I can not explain it deeply with this at the moment.
Second of all, we do not treat all jobs fairly. We give people who has senior jobs more respect than other people. For example, we do not treat garbage men respectively. Even some people insult in front of garbage men. This is unfair and this needs to be correct. This all came from India, where there are caste systems.
Finally, we should have Caliphs instead of Presidents/Prime Ministers. Caliphs in the past used to walk all around the place to help people at night. You know what was "Caliphs" term meant? A "Servent", who has to take care of all people. We do not see any President helping us like that. Can we think Presidents as being like Servent? Never.
