Re: Should Pakistan create its own Internet?
There is no doubt, that there are several traditions, which are similar among Pakistanis and north Indians.
And then there are several traditions which have their root in Islam and they were adopted, not yesterday, but hundreds of years ago and millions of Muslims in India follow those as well.
Some good Indian movies were watched very keenly by Pakistanis few decades ago, and similarly Pakistani dramas were very popular among Indians. But this new wave of Indian movies where they are trying to pretend as if they were some Western culture even have their critics in India, who are protesting about the level of nudity being displayed.
You can’t watch those sitting with your family and we in Pakistan certainly do not need it. Even the new generation Pakistani dramas “made in Dubai” are following blindly their movies. And besides it has destroyed our own film industry as well. Film industry in any country is an important factor to display its cultural values.
The way Pakistan is always portrayed as some negative country and Pakistanis always as some sort of monsters in their movies, we do not need to watch that…
And what has it to do with conspiracy theories? You think Indians are better than Pakistanis when it comes to conspiracy theories?
