Pakistani girls are incredibly good looking and have the reputation of being the most beautiful girls of South Asia and if a country like India can produce several winners of Miss Universe then shouldn’t Pakistan compete in Miss Universe as well?
I mean whats the big deal.
Turkey, Egypt, Lebanon, Indonesia are all muslim countries and have all entered the miss universe pagent so why cant Pakistan?

I don't mind unless they parade around in skimpy outfits or if they call themselves muslims. They shud announce that they aren't muslims or at least announce that they aren't practicing muslims.

i dont think so..because there is a lot of freedom in pak..and would just cause it to be no different than the other muslim countries..i mean luk at the middle east..they are all goras now

Egypt and Lebanon, yah right. Turkey isnt as liberal as you think. Malaysia used to be a favourite until people found out about Hijab. Turkey has actually banned Hijab for students, so that's not as liberal as Pakistan, where they have a choice.

What's the big deal about Miss Universe. Aishwarya Rai has fake lenses, fake nose, fake skin, hardly looks Indian..She's more fake European looking. Probably a bit of bribery going on mind. Miss Congo won it recently I think.

i live in toronto, and i see plenty of pakistani girls in clubs wearing very skimpy outfits....

I agree it is liberal. heck I have been to bikini parties in good old karachi. but all this freedom is on personal level, as soon somebody tries to get out of tyhe boundries of the society's norm they will be shot down literally.
