We all know that the newly elected party PTI and its chairman Imran Khan consider Najam Sethi as one of their opponents. There has not been a single instance where Sethi was appreciated by them. The famous "Relo-kattay players" comment is still in the echo.
But to his credit,
1) Sethi mobilized PSL and made it a great success with the finals now being played in Pakistan for two years.
2) Pakistan became #1 in T20 and relatively better in ODI and tests ranking
3) Pakistan won Champions trophy.
4) The team now looks fully united alongwith the team of coaches and are playing as a unit?
If there is a better alternate than why not. Replacing by an incompetent person will be considered as political revenge which IK in his speech clearly denied
There are sayings like dont rock the boat or why fix what aint broken. Unless there is some very very talented and qualified person available for this position, I dont think its appropriate at this time
other than PSL on which sethi excelled superb and i will give him 10/10, he has not done much to improve anything substantial.

we played only 5 test matches in a 15 month period from May 17 to Sep 2018. only 5. originally we had only 2 test matches but after some protest, PCB got 3 more. meanwhile even Bangladesh and srilanka played more cricket than us. test cricket is ultimate verison and our players are not getting enough test matches at all
who is responsible for it? it all happened on sethi’s watch
sethi just focused on PSL and left everything else to his incompetent team
IK should take imitatives to free PCB from politics and make it clean so that recruitment is done on merit. IK appointing ehsan mani as chairman is contrary to what PTI has been preaching for last decade.
Najam Sethi had really no business running PCB. How does one go from running the caretaker govt in Punjab in 2013 to be appointed by the PM who won because of Punjab to run PCB?
Teams don’t come to Pakistan but can’t Pakistan play them in UAE?
Why is pakistan a one trick pony like before it was only bowling and now it is only T20s?
People can disagree with his politics but I was really impressed by his performance as chairman of PCB. The new chairman Ehsan Mani, doesnt live in Pakistan and is on board of several companies in Europe so I dont think he`ll have much time for PCB. Ehsan mani may introduce gimmicks such as increasing discipline but I don’t expect much.
