Shoaib Mansoor doesn’t use the Lahore movie infrastructure to make his films. He prefers to use TV actors or people from the fashion industry (Rasheed Naz, Iman Ali, Shaan was a last ditch replacement for Junaid Jamshed) and works with bound scripts with a story to tell. As per the info I have, the cameras on which KKL was shot were rented from the Karachi ad-film circuit, and the movie was processed, mixed and edited abroad.
