i am not upset about because Ravi Shankar is criticizing Dr.Zakir Naik......
but you didn't watch that video properly.....because you did not get that ravi shankar is angry at Dr.Zakir Naik..because zakir naik showed flaws in books written by Ravi Shankar named hinduism and Islam...which alleges that muslim worship Kaba....
and kaba was a shiv mandir...
Sang-e-Aswad is actually a Shiv linga...nauzbillah....
and uncle of Prophet MUhammad wrote praises about Shiva....
and i posted this video in response to allegation that Dr.Zakir NAik is only one who is falsely alleging other religions of acts in which they are not involved....but RAvi Shankar is also like him..

I am surprised that you should get offended by these statements. Being an Indian you would have heard more conspiracy theories like this. Taj Mahal was a Shiva temple and the like. It is his thoughts and nothing would change the facts. Why get offended by it so much.

Nope I did not watch the video. I am travelling this week and am in a place with bad connection. Good enough for checking mails and surfing but videos take a long long time to load. Hence I am asking you. Or I have to wait till mid of next week when I get back home. Even posting here is some snatched moments of peace being spent :D Why is there no Islamic channel? Find one that will not end up in the country's hatelist for its shenanigans and concentrates on holy instruction of your religion only and lobby for it if you want it that badly. It won't miraculously appear out of thin air if you sit on your backside and assume that you are entitled to it. I don't know the laws w.r.t religious channels in India. But if other religions are getting DTH channels, do something taking care to choose/establish your channel contact some reputed religious organizations who can do something about it. This is what I would have done

Zakir Naik started it first. ;). He is OK in minorities getting equal rights in India, while not OK with minorities getting equal rights in Islamic countries. What logic.

You cannot consider Ravi Shankar to be a hate monger. He was specifically responding to Zakir's comments. I have been to his ashram in Bangalore once. Even though I belong to a community different from Hinduism, I found his lectures quite calming.
I used to stay in Mangalore. I used to watch Qtv. I am not sure if it is still there.

Also I think it is essential that we come back to the topic that we are supposed to be discussing. Today I read in the TOI about a family from Pakistan who preferred to leave their new born in Pakistan itself and come to India and apply for asylum. It seems that extremism has been on the rise in Pakistan from the last 20 years. Should India proactively give citizenship to these refugees. I believe it should. Yes it would open a flood gate. India should evolve a comprehensive policy of verifying these refugees before granting citizenship to these refugees. We do not want terrorists to come to India in the garb of refugees.
