Lol yeah my sister’s maiyoon was like 10 days before her wedding and my nani ama thought she should sit again 3 days before her wedding…lol… she was like that wasn’t a real maiyoon…lolz…

I already replied to your question but a thought just popped in my head. Mayoon is a larkay walay ka tradition. The larkay walay bring you the mayoon ka jora. Or as they say, "mayoon bethaanay aa rahay hain". You're not supposed to get your own mayoon ka jora.
In older times, you would wear the same jora as the larkay walay brought for you for the mayoon's rasam to the menhdi --- there was no separate dress for the mehndi. However, these days the girl changes into a new dress for the mehndi. So you can wear this for your mehndi or get a different one if you'd like but the mayoon -- the dress, bangles, flowers, etc come from the larkay walay. You don't arrange it.
ya i know of this tradition.. par my mayoun is gonna be like "Dholki" function.. since we r in different cities thats why my in laws wont come.. n mehndi pe woh rasam karaingay mayoun wale.. jo combined hai after 4 5 days..
my MIL said buy anything of ur choice n we'll pay.. toh i guess mughe hey mehndi ka lena hoga.. :)

Ideas about my mehndi mayoo outfit
hello gals,
I want to add bit bright colors to my mayoon outfit...
let me describe wat i have got.... i have got copper zaari banarsi duppta with touching work.... duppata is dyed in yellow from centre and green from both ends...
shalwar fabric is also of copper zari banarsi having green color...... whereas shirt is yellow with copper banarsi type prints.......
wat i m thinking is to add applique work and fancy laces and add colors like magenta or orange or red to my dress so that movie turns out good.... i m thiking of either front open shirt with applique or bottom of shirt with applique work...
i have searched out the forum for designs ... but not successful ....... plz gals help me out in creating exotic dress for my occassion to make it a different and a memorable one

What's "touching" work? I'd add the tiny gota instead of any lace...gota is back btw and if done nicely, looks really pretty!
