I just went and got a makeover..she did a wonderful job..I bought everythign she used…however the next day (today) I have a zit..and it freakin hurts.
Should I just return it? I was using benefit…and mineral powders, which work very well day to day.
Or should I just keep the MAC for going out?
No give it time.. try it a couple of times and see if u continue to breakout. Mineral makeup is usually safer :)

i tried it, i hatd it...it looked cakey....but try another time,..,are you sure its not time of the month or something.
and you say you used benefit..and it was good. why did you stray from it then...they say if its not broken why fix it.....
tell me, did benefit cover any marks/blemishes you may hav had on your face? I want to try themm
Benefit works great, I used the stick coverup in jump rope (only at trouble areas not all over) and the powder I use mineral neutrogena with benefit flawless powder over that.
I tried MAC because people kept raving about it, and I wanted a matte look. I like how it looks (only for night time tho) because it has no shine..wearing it during the day seems to age me though.
I also have shu umera..face architect that works really well also for night.
MAC tends to look cakey and crease around the eyes and laugh-lines as well. MAC will work for evenings.. when heavier coverage is needed. You have to get the perfect match for it to look nice though..

gina i was using mac studio fix but now when i use it...its too dry on my forehead and it flakes alot....
can you suggest some good foundation which doesnt harm the face alot and it looks nice...

Lots of people have the same complaint MAC creases and causes flakiness and has the tendency to change colors. I love Bobbi Brown and foundation/concealers by Makeup Forever.

if you have sephora in dubai then you should be able to find all major brands there except of course MAC as it isn't that high end :)
sometimes i find that if you don't remove your make-up properly before sleeping then you can get blocked pores
since you were using mineral make-up before you might have to use a make-up remover for the face before washing your face
