na janay ghar kisay kahtay hain aur makaa’n hai kya
kabhi kabhi to mai tujh mai hi rahnay lagti ho

teri gali mai yehi hum kalam hai mujh mai
so gard-e-rah say har ek baat kahnay lagti ho

chala bhi a’a kay tujhay orh kar libas karo
barhna tun pay tera naam pahnay lagti ho

teray khyal ki barsat kay taswur say
mai ek kachi haweli ho dhenay lagti ho
