She is wife of my wife’s distant cousin. She said that her husband has anger management issues. They live about 2 hours drive away .
He starts yelling , screaming and breaking things over little issues which should be discussed and talked over by husband and wife. As per her story this has become a norm in the house and happens frequently. They have a one year old doll of a girls.
She wanted me to talk to this guy , initially I was reluctant to intervene . Then based on answers to certain questions and visualizing the face to their daughter who I love . I decided to talk to this guy. He admitted to me that he has anger issues and then he promised that he will arrange for his counseling. But I said his wife is traumatized with his behavior so she needs counseling too. He promised to arrange for counseling for both of them.
Now my question is should I follow through or leave it at that ?

follow through. If he has listened to you once, chances are he will listen to you again.
Dont leve it in the middle....
oh and because he has listened to your without bringing in his ego/temper, chances are that he can get better quickly with the therapy

You should follow through. It's Ramadan and Allah SWT has given you the opportunity to help someone.
Also, you have not had any resistance yet, the initial results are good since the guy agrees he needs help.

bring it up the next time you guys meet... just casually.... so hey... have you found someone to talk to about the anger management? and go from there.
