should i do qurbani

i pay zakat, i have 40 tola gold. but no income. husband says qurbani i should do qurbani; i dnt think i can afford it. he says a molvi told him i should do it as i have over the nisab amount gold.

also my parentsd gave me some money, so am using it from that., but they gave it for a specefic purpose- not qurbani…but he says money is money and u can use for qurbani..

If i have gold more than nisab, and no amount for qurbani, will sale some of the gold so i can do Qurbani with hopes that Allah will give me more again in future :).

ab jaan nikal nai gi aurutun ki jub soney ko bee'ch kar qurbani aur zakat nikalni pare...

is your husband doing qurbani or is he just motivating you ?
